🔐 What is a "Keyholder"?
A Keyholder is a trusted friend or partner you link your account with. They hold the digital "key" to your distractions. If you hit your limit and want to unlock an app, they receive a notification to approve or deny your request.
🕵️ Can my friend see my private data?
Absolutely not. Your privacy is 100% safe. Literal only shares your app usage time and unlock requests with your Keyholder. They cannot see your chats, photos, or browser history.
🚨 What if my friend is busy or sleeping?
Don't panic! We have an "Emergency Glass Break" feature. You can use 100 tokens to force-unlock your phone instantly. However, your Keyholder will get a "Siren" notification that you broke the glass. Accountability never sleeps!
🚫 Can I just uninstall the app to bypass it?
Nice try! If you enable Uninstall Protection, the app becomes nearly impossible to delete without your Keyholder's permission. We’ve built this to protect you from your own impulsive urges.
🪙 What are Tokens used for?
Tokens are the "currency of commitment." You stake them on goals (like waking up at 5 AM). If you succeed, you keep them. If you fail, they disappear. You can also use them for emergency unlocks.
